Pull-out, corner and larder mechanisms fit particular cabinet widths and types — check your cabinet against the stated size before ordering, and fit them to the instructions (a built-in mechanism is best fitted by a competent kitchen fitter). Keep to the stated weight limit on baskets, pull-outs and shelves; overloading can jam or break a runner. A tall larder or pantry cabinet must be assembled by an adult on a level floor and anchored to the wall against tipping, especially where children are about.
